What To Expect at

WHAT IS A SUNDAY LIKE @ 242?

Sundays @ 9:30am

• You’ll be greeted by smiling faces in the parking lot and at the front door.
• If you have kids 11 and under, 242 KIDS check-in is in the lobby to the right. You will be given a security sticker that must be presented to pick up your child after The Gathering.
• After check-in, have them join you in The Worship Center until 242 Kids are dismissed (after songs and announcements).
• Grab some 242 Brew (our signature coffee). Feel free to take it inside the Worship Center. Lids are appreciated. 
• As you enter the Worship Center, find a seat anywhere you like. Ushers are there to help. There are no assigned seats, so just make yourself at home.
• We begin with the Worship Team leading a few songs. The lyrics will be on a couple of screens. Sing along if you’d like.  God doesn’t mind, (nor do we) if you sing off key.
• Someone will passionately preach/teach from the Bible.  
• We close our Gathering by speaking The Blessing found in Numbers 6:24-26, “May the Lord bless you and keep you…”
• You didn’t miss the part where we ask for money. 242 doesn’t receive a “formal” offering during our Gathering. Giving kiosks are located near the exit of The Worship Center.  For the more tech savvy, online giving is available.  

After A Worship Gathering

• If you brought kids, please don’t forget them. Take your security sticker to the 242 Kids check-out located in the hallway, and a staff member will reunite your little one.
• Hangout as long as you wish.  No one will rush you out.
• We wholeheartedly hope to see you the following week.
